Job summary

Morningstar DBRS in New York is seeking a Senior Analyst for Structured Finance Cash Flow Analytics. You will develop cash flow models, interpret legal documents, and evaluate credit profiles, collaborating with Ratings teams and senior staff in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers hybrid work options in a dynamic, global risk analytics setting and requires strong communication skills and a solid background in structured finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Structured Finance, preferably with direct cash flow modeling.
• Self-starter and team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Master's degree is a plus; CFA Level I is a plus.
• Familiarity with Intex/Dealmaker/Calc/Wrapper and Excel/VBA is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cash flow models in Intex Dealmaker, Python and other platforms.
• Interpret and analyze transaction legal documents focusing on waterfall and structure.
• Assist with analysis to evaluate credit profiles of securities.
• Communicate analysis to senior staff and ratings teams, and present findings as needed.
