Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, engineering, CS or related field.
• 2+ years in structured finance, securitization, banking or mortgage analytics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and standard Office applications.
• Organized, deadline-driven, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RMBS transaction analysis, assessing collateral, deal structures, credit enhancements, and legal frameworks.
• Identify key credit issues during the new-issue rating process.
• Serve as co-lead or backup analyst on selected transactions and present findings to rating committees.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure consistent application of criteria.
• Contribute to modeling and methodology enhancements, run sensitivities and stress tests.
• Produce market updates or concise commentary with minimal supervision.
