Insight Investment in New York seeks a Senior Investment Analyst or Portfolio Manager for its Structured Credit team. The role focuses on evaluating US consumer ABS and US non-agency RMBS, with responsibilities spanning model development, pricing, reporting, and client-focused presentations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in structured finance, strong Excel/Intex/Bloomberg skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structured finance experience.
• Experience at an asset management company or bank preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge across structured credit products; US consumer ABS and US non-agency RMBS expertise preferred.
• Strong grasp of legal structures and documentation.
• Background in mathematics, finance, or economics ideal.
• Strong Excel, Intex and Bloomberg skills; VBA, Python and/or AI-enabled tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and negotiate amendments with the Sell side in consultation with the team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to structured products.
• Model new securities within internal Portfolio Management system and other systems.
• Use Intex to price, stress test, and analyse investments; build bespoke cashflow/analytic models in Excel when Intex is unavailable.
• Coordinate new issue and secondary orders, allocations, bookings and trade enquiries.
• Produce daily spread and new issue reports to inform team of market conditions.
• Monitor investment holdings and update relevant reports and tools.
• Respond to inquiries for focus sectors and managed accounts.
• Assist in design and delivery of client presentations and pitches.
• Support other investment opportunities and Secured Finance activities as needed.
