Morningstar DBRS is seeking a Senior Analyst in New York with responsibilities spanning cash flow modeling and analysis for US ABS and related securitizations. The role collaborates with Ratings teams and may involve presenting findings to senior staff.

The candidate will become an expert on securitization structures, legal document review, and present analyses with clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Structured Finance with cash flow modeling.
• Self-starter and team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• CFA level I is a plus.
• Intex (Dealmaker, Calc, Wrapper) experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel/VBA and Python knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cash flow models in Intex Dealmaker, Python and other platforms.
• Interpret and analyze transaction legal documents focusing on waterfall and structures.
• Assist with analysis to evaluate credit profile of securities.
• Communicate analysis to senior staff and Ratings Analyst teams; present findings.
