Job summary

Ontic's Chatsworth, CA site is seeking a Customer Repair Administrator to coordinate RMAs across Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Operations, and Finance. You will own RMAs from initial request to final closure, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring aerospace/manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This onsite role offers competitive benefits and an opportunity to impact the repair cycle end-to-end.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end ownership of all RMAs across the business.
• Reduce aging and overdue RMAs through consistent follow-up and escalation.
• Improve visibility and reporting of open returns, warranty claims, and customer issues.
• Ensure timely communication and status updates to customers.
• Coordinate closely with Quality and Operations to drive evaluations and dispositions.
• Ensure credits, replacements, repairs, and associated transactions are completed and closed appropriately.
• Free up Customer Service and Sales resources to focus on their core responsibilities and customer growth.
• Create a standardized and controlled RMA process, improve turnaround time and customer experience, reduce open and aging returns, and establish a single point of accountability for RMAs across the business.
