Hotel Contessa, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare high-quality food and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting on the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Responsibilities include following recipes, rotating perishables, checking pars, and assisting in cost control and waste reduction. Prior experience in hotel kitchens is preferred and reliable communication is essential.

Formación

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Date all food containers and rotate per HEI Hotels and Resorts standards; keep perishables at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and note shortages; assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Assist in setting up plans to control food costs and reduce waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment as required and maintain sanitation.
