Job summary

Valencia Group in San Antonio's Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is seeking a PM Line Cook to join a fast-paced culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items to hotel standards, maintain proper station setup, and support banquet and room service operations during the evening shift.

The role requires 1 year in the culinary field, a high school diploma or equivalent, Food Handler’s Certification, and strong teamwork, safety, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in the culinary industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler’s Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and specifications.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Set up and stock assigned workstations before each service.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
• Properly store, label, date, and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Assist with restaurant, banquet, catering, and special event production as needed.
