Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our premier long-term care facility in New York. You will lead clinical quality, risk mitigation, and DOH reporting, collaborating with the DON to ensure top-tier care and regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold an active RN license and have hands-on DOH reporting experience, with 3+ years in long-term care or similar settings. Prior ADON or risk-management roles are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Hands-on DOH reporting experience is required.
• 3+ years RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute facilities.
• Experience as ADON, Risk Manager, QIC, or Clinical Supervisor in LTC.
• Strong knowledge of DOH reporting mandates and state surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation, documentation, and mandatory reporting of all facility accidents to DOH.
• Partner with DON to oversee daily nursing operations and maintain high clinical quality.
• Perform root-cause analyses on clinical incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local DOH regulations and support survey readiness.
• Educate nursing staff on safety, risk reduction, and incident documentation.
