Job summary

The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a part-time Coordinator I position within the Risk Management & Insurance department. We anticipate this position to have an FTE of .25 or 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities include administrative support for the RM&I program, advisory board coordination, budget monitoring, website updates, and event planning. A High School diploma and two years of administrative experience are required; higher education experience is

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Minimum: Two years of administrative support experience.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a higher education setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain calendar and schedule meetings.
• Create correspondence - letters and emails.
• Maintain and manage record-keeping systems of the program.
• Respond to program inquiries.
• Order office supplies and equipment.
• Make travel arrangements for the director and students to attend RM&I events.
• Coordinate advisory board meetings and minutes.
• Coordinate executive committee meetings and minutes.
• Coordinate subcommittee meetings.
• Coordinate scheduling of meetings with prospective board members.
• Update board charter and contact directory.
• Coordinate board appointments and tracking.
• Monitor and approve requisitions and supervise RM&I budget.
• Monitor Wells One for the director.
• Maintain program website and create materials.
• Reservations and catering orders, publicity, and speaker arrangements.
