Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation required.
• 12+ years in risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering or internal controls; internal audit experience in tech, real estate, life sciences, financial services or healthcare preferred.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Proven track record of building and growing a risk advisory practice, including team development, client base and revenue management.
• Proven ability in new business development.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, stay current with strategies and ethics, and maintain a sense of urgency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction focused on exceptional client service, learning and growth, and financial success.
• Translate firm vision into an actionable business plan with clear objectives and progress tracking.
• Team with marketing to develop sales plans, explore expansion of services, pursue new clients, and participate in proposals.
• Coordinate firm resources to deliver the best products and services to clients.
• Ensure team members receive meaningful training, development opportunities, and timely feedback.
• Oversee profitability through effective utilization of personnel, pricing, and timely fee collection.
• Collaborate with client executives to understand businesses and manage financial and operational risks within systems to ensure technology risks are addressed.
• Develop deep knowledge of clients' businesses through direct interaction on multiple engagements.
• Think independently and strategically to provide business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Provide strategic advice to implement new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess and manage risk across ERM, SOX, and operational audits; review processes against industry frameworks.
• Lead and participate in new business opportunities and deliver comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor, build relationships, and communicate effectively to ensure superior client service and successful engagements.
• Lead professional presentations to internal and external audiences.
