Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager-in-Training to lead customer experience and frontline operations in Wake Forest, NC. The role supports the Store Manager, leads the store team, and ensures merchandising integrity and profitability across front-end and pharmacy operations.

The candidate will manage scheduling, performance reviews, and training while driving customer satisfaction and store performance. A flexible schedule and relocation readiness may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or successful Walgreens internship or equivalent supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
• Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking) and willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end and pharmacy operations.
• Leads and manages store team including recruitment, performance management and discipline.
• Supports Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and runs store in absence of Store Manager.
• Uses data and KPIs to identify sales opportunities and drive store improvements.
• Oversees store cash management and inventory controls.
