Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related program field.
• CAPM certification preferred and can be earned by end of the two-year program.
• Typically 2+ years of related work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of project management phases and tools.
• Proficiency with scheduling, cost management, change control, time management, WBS, risk management, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Set up standard cost control system on assigned projects and programs.
• Monitor and control costs; validate data and schedules.
• Perform variance analysis and identify issues in project performance.
• Analyze cost data to identify overruns or shortfalls to the baseline.
• Interpret data for review with project management.
• Prepare and maintain project plans with cross-functional input.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments to mitigate cost and schedule risks.
• Incorporate contractual changes into the project control system.
