Job summary

Convey (formerly Message Broadcast) offers an Emerging Talent Program for an HR Associate to kickstart a career in Human Resources. You will participate in a six-month development program, learn from company leaders, and own a project to improve HR workflows.

You’ll support onboarding, HR systems, policies, and recruitment activities while building a network across the organization and growing your HR expertise.

Qualifications

• > Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information.
• < Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.
• < Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to learn, seek feedback, and take on new challenges.
• < An interest in finding better ways to work, including using AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency.
• < Comfort with Microsoft 365 and a willingness to learn new systems; experience with HRIS or AI tools is a plus.
• < Interest in building a long-term career in HR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including scheduling, paperwork, system setup and first-week meetings with IT and HR
• Keep employee records and HR systems accurate and up to date
• Answer employee questions about policies, benefits and HR processes, and elevate when needed
• Support recruiting by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and keeping job postings current
• Help plan and run employee engagement events and company programs
• Help with HR reporting, audits and compliance documents
• Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve efficiency, and make information easier to understand.
