Job summary

LeoForce in Detroit, MI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, clients and design teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Civil Eng, Arch or related field.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Track project costs, commitments, and financial reporting.
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
• Monitor project schedules and support recovery planning when needed.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement efforts.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Support quality control and project closeout activities.
• Partner with field operations teams to ensure effective communication and project execution.
