Job summary

LeoForce in Columbus area seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work with Project Managers and field leaders to coordinate execution, control documentation, cost tracking, and schedules, while aiding in procurement and field activities.

The role offers growth toward a Project Manager path, with awareness of budgeting, risk, and client coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project engineering, coordination, or Assistant Project Management experience.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, ProjectSight, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical construction projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, change order pricing, and invoice review.
• Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, schedules, and field activities.
• Track project progress and help identify scheduling, scope, and constructability issues.
• Support QA/QC, inspections, punch lists, as-builts, and project closeout.
