Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Right of Way Director to lead the ROW department across the Northeast U.S. The role oversees preparation, budgeting, and staff while coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 15+ years in ROW or related fields, and a real estate license (or eligibility). Strong Microsoft Office skills and supervisory experience are essential. Remote work in the Northeast is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in land, right of way, easement acquisition, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of Right of Way supervisory experience.
• Professional real estate license or eligible to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Right of Way department; direct preparation functions and personnel decisions.
• Provide oversight and direction for strategy, budgeting, staffing, and deliverables.
• Meet with prospective clients; prepare proposals and establish budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements and advise on projects.
