MEI Industrial Solutions in Sparks, NV seeks experienced riggers to set up, assemble, and disassemble rigging for relocation and handling of heavy machinery. You will select appropriate gear, inspect materials for safety, and communicate hazards using proper hand signals.

CDL may be required for certain positions. This role involves driving commercial vehicles, basic welding/fabrication tasks, and assisting in warehouse activities when not rigging.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics or manuals as required.
• Must be able to read measuring tools and perform weight estimates.
• Familiar with hand and flag signals for safety communication.
• Willing to learn and follow safety requirements including PPE.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL/endorsements may be required.

Mansioni

• Set up, assemble, or disassemble rigging based on load specs.
• Select gear (cables, pulleys, winches) per load size and area.
• Inspect rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Move loads using hoists and rigging systems, ensuring safety.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment as needed.
• Dismantle, inspect, clean, and store rigging equipment.
