Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Sparks, NV is seeking a full-time Rigger to assemble and disassemble rigging for relocation and transport of machinery. The role requires measuring, signaling, and precise handling of loads using hand and power tools.

Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma, ability to read blueprints, and strong safety discipline. CDL may be required for some positions; relocation and sign-on bonuses may be available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Reads blueprints or technical manuals to determine rigging specifications.
• Follows safety requirements and uses PPE correctly.
• Willing to learn and follow rigging standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand or power tools.
• Select cables, pulleys, winches, and other gear per load specs.
• Signal or communicate with team to ensure safe hoisting and movement.
