Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Rigger for full-time field operations in North Kingstown, RI. You will set up, assemble, and disassemble rigging, selecting appropriate gear to safely secure equipment during relocation and transport.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL license if required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand or power tools for moving.
• Select gear such as cables, pulleys, winches based on load.
• Communicate with team using signals to ensure safety.
• Move heavy equipment through confined spaces with appropriate gear.
