Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent rigging/lift-planning experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of crane operations, rigging equipment, and lifting practices.
• Ability to perform basic lift-planning calculations and read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Rigging Engineer in preparing lifting plans and documentation.
• Perform crane capacity checks using load charts and approved configurations.
• Develop crane layouts identifying crane/load locations and radii.
• Specify rigging components and generate rigging arrangements for review.
• Conduct basic lift-planning calculations including weights and radius.
• Prepare crane layouts and rigging drawings in AutoCAD.
• Review drawings and data for lift-planning accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and field personnel for lift planning.
