Carowinds is seeking an Area Manager of Rides to ensure safe, efficient operation of all park attractions. You will assist with hiring, leading, and managing talent daily alongside another Rides Area Manager, working with divisional managers on tasks and projects.

This role reports to the Rides Manager and requires high motivation, leadership, and time management. Responsibilities include planning resources and budgets, enforcing safety, recruiting staff, and coordinating with other departments

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience in Ride Operations preferred.
• IRT Certified Instructor license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes and controls resources of the Rides department.
• Reviews operating guidelines for rides/attractions to ensure compliance.
• Monitors operation of Rides attractions and enforces safety procedures.
• Recruits, hires and trains part-time and seasonal associates.
• Supervises seasonal management staff and coordinates staffing.
