Job summary

The Jackson National Life Insurance Company is seeking a RIA External Consultant to develop and manage relationships with Independent Registered Investment Advisers in a defined U.S. territory.

You will meet with advisers, conduct trainings, and drive product adoption while coordinating with internal partners and using CRM tools. The role requires strong communication, sales acumen, and the ability to travel up to 25% to engage with advisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Prior annuity or investment external wholesaling experience preferred.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required.
• Possesses or is actively pursuing industry designations or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with VP, RIA Sales to develop a business plan to maximize territorial sales.
• Conducts product and sales training via sessions, seminars, and branch meetings.
• Plans and deploys resources to maximize territory sales within budget and expenses.
• Identifies and fosters leads with an Internal Wholesaler from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing.
• Uses Jackson databases to create adviser profiles and track sales activity.
• Communicates with internal partners using CRM systems.
• Operates a hybrid wholesaling model with up to 25% field time and virtual/video meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
