Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Specialty Representative in the Tampa, FL area to execute brand strategies and drive sales within the Rheumatology portfolio. The role requires field-based activity with a focus on building strong customer relationships and solving needs at the point of care.

The candidate will manage territory coverage, meet KPIs, and collaborate with field and brand teams while adhering to AbbVies policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry with 3+ years in sales preferred
• Proven track record of success in selling and strong presentation skills; ability to adapt to customer style and close opportunities

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs and financial targets for the territory.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and evaluate after calls to improve performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and align AbbVie solutions with customer needs.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to optimize strategy.
• Differentiate AbbVies value proposition to health providers in the territory.
