Job summary
Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join an established outpatient specialty clinic in Rutland, Vermont.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an approved medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME Internal Medicine residency and a Rheumatology fellowship.
- Active Vermont license or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; active DEA registration.
- Preferred outpatient specialty experience; musculoskeletal ultrasound and EMR documentation skills valued.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with rheumatic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Obtain histories, perform exams, assess disease activity and treatment response.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, bone health tests to guide care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs, biologics, steroids, and immunomodulators.
- Perform joint injections and other rheumatology procedures as indicated.
- Educate patients and families about chronic conditions and self-management.
- Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with primary care, specialists, nursing, and rehab staff.
- Participate in clinical protocol development and departmental initiatives.
