Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Manager to coordinate RFP/RFI/RFQ responses in a fast-paced VAR/tech services environment. You will ingest solicitation materials, assemble content plans, assign SME tasks, and deliver polished, compliant proposals.

In this role you will write and edit sections, manage deadlines, and collaborate with sales, delivery, finance, and engineering to ensure accurate cost and solution details.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience coordinating RFP, RFI, RFQ, or similar bid responses.
• Strong writing, editing, and interpretation of solicitation requirements.
• Ability to organize, schedule, and manage inputs from multiple contributors across functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned bid responses under Lead Proposal/Contracts Manager guidance.
• Ingest solicitation materials, organize requirements, and determine content needs.
• Assign content requests to experts, track deadlines, and consolidate contributions into a compliant deliverable.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and formatting.
• Develop standard proposal components and ensure adherence to submission instructions.
• Coordinate internal reviews, content libraries, and version control.
