Job summary

Kearney & Company seeks a Proposal Manager to lead the entire proposal lifecycle for US Federal government solicitations. You will direct proposal teams, coordinate strategy sessions with SMEs, and ensure compliant, persuasive responses that win bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing proposal development/processes, preferably for U.S. Federal Government solicitations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce preferred.
• Willingness to work hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct management of the proposal team from bid approval through award.
• Develops all necessary proposal documentation to win the assigned bid.
• Facilitates proposal strategy sessions with capture and SMEs.
• Ensures the response conveys key messages, value propositions, and differentiators.
• Works with business development and senior leadership to incorporate feedback.
• Manages diverse proposal teams including coordinators, writers, editors, graphic artists, executives, and SMEs.
• Leads color reviews and recovery strategy.
• Ensures internal approvals and compliance.
• Coordinates and leads all proposal team meetings.
• Manages proposal content in Salesforce, SpringCM, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
• Collaborates to articulate a winning strategy and substantiated themes.
• Serves as liaison with subcontractors when necessary.
• Researches and shares boilerplate and past performance data.
• Creates and maintains templates and process docs.
• Edits and rewrites text leveraging boilerplate as appropriate.
• Oversees proposal graphics development.
• Assists in production, packaging, and delivery of proposals.
• Acts as quality assurance for final products.
• Identifies lessons learned to improve the process.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.
