Job summary

Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims administration partner, is seeking a Proposal Specialist to develop and respond to information and proposals. You will collaborate with SMEs to ensure timely, accurate responses and oversee quality and cohesiveness of the final submission.

The role supports a fast-paced environment, requires attention to detail and strong proofreading, with a focus on compliant, client-specific proposals and maintaining proposal libraries and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include one (1) year of project management experience and one (1) year of proofing/editing experience. Experience with Qvidian software a preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and responds to requests within the business development group.
• Provides initial draft of each request to various subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and incorporates any needed edits or updates to the response.
• Ensures initial draft is compliant, responsive, and specifically tailored to each client’s needs.
• Ensures security and integrity of all proposal documentation.
• Works collaboratively with the SMEs to ensure new requirements are identified and documented.
• Facilitates internal flow and review of all proposal inputs and directs production of final master proposal.
• Determines and maintains the timeline for each response to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Helps develop and maintain proposal best practices.
• Takes on additional assignments, such as RFP follow-up requests, proposal library update projects and other ad hoc assignments.
