Job summary

Checkpoint Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced RFID Technical Applications Engineer to bridge customers with Sales, Marketing, and R&D. You will translate customer RFID needs into manufacturable label solutions and guide trials from concept to launch.

You will lead technical reviews, specify materials, and validate performance across packaging lines, reader systems, and encoding processes, driving reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Six to eight years in applications engineering or related roles.
• Experience with RFID inlays, packaging, and converting.
• Customer-facing experience in technical sales support or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for RFID labels and packaging opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, reviews, plant visits, and demonstrations.
• Translate application requirements into label constructions and specifications.
• Select RFID components based on product characteristics and environment.
• Develop test plans for adhesion, durability, and RFID performance.
• Document findings and train internal teams and customers.
