Job summary

Velocitor Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking an RFID Printer Technician to support RFID-enabled printing deployments at customer sites. You will replace printers with RFID-capable Zebra models, configure settings to match current formats, and verify RFID tag encoding on labels.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, testing, and go-live support; troubleshooting encoding, print, and connectivity issues; and documenting configurations for consistency across locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with thermal printers; Zebra preferred.
• Strong ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware in the field.
• Good attention to detail and quality assurance in printing and encoding.

Responsibilities

• Replace existing non-RFID printers with RFID-capable printers (primarily Zebra models).
• Install, configure, and test printers at customer shipper locations.
• Ensure hardware is connected (network, power, peripherals) and validate label formats.
