Job summary

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Premium Metal Payment Cards with a focus on authentication and digital asset solutions. The R&D Engineer will develop new products, document processes, and create technical drawings while training others on new methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• BS or BEng in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Applied electrical engineering experience, especially RFID.
• Circuit design and prototyping; footprint miniaturization.
• CAD skills including 3D modeling.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; self-motivated.
• Enthusiastic team player; able to adapt to changing needs.
• Willingness to learn payment card business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products, components, and production processes.
• Document processes and create technical drawings.
• Train personnel on new processes.
• Design tests and analyze results to validate concepts.
• Industrialize prototype processes for manufacturing.
• Prepare invention disclosures for patent filings.
• Support process improvement and material qualification.
• Maintain thorough documentation of development activities.
