Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking innovators, collaborators, and problem solvers for its RFID Applications Engineer Co-Op in North America. You will work with product engineers on RFID tags, printer systems, and reader systems in HF and UHF bands, supporting development and testing in an office or lab environment.

You will gain hands-on experience, participate in data collection and reporting, and contribute to projects that connect the physical and digital worlds.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or other Engineering discipline.
• General familiarity with electronic systems and introductory programming background is preferred.
• Volunteerism or similar activities and involvement in student organizations are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with engineers and influencing product development and customer use case decisions.
• Obtaining deep knowledge of RFID technology enabling IoT, blockchain and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Working as part of a technical team with testing methods, data analysis, and reporting in spreadsheets.
• Providing support for RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems in HF and UHF bands.
• Utilizing automated RFID test systems and printer/reader systems for testing and data collection.
