Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an RF Test Systems Engineer 1 for onsite support in STaRS Test Automation. You will troubleshoot test equipment, work with cross‑functional teams, and assist in developing and validating production test solutions for RF modules and related subassemblies.

The role requires a STEM degree with up to 2 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. A strong emphasis on MATLAB, TestStand, and TestExecutive is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with minimal prior experience.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/ATE/UUT Test Systems Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience communicating within cross-functional teams (test personnel electrical, software, mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting of test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.
• Work independently and drive toward goals.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deploy test solutions for RF modules and power supplies.
• Assist in design, integration, verification, and validation of production test solutions.
• Analyze data and develop solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with functional teams to align with project objectives.
