Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a pioneer in MANET and MIMO radio systems, seeks an Associate R&D Test Engineer to join the West Los Angeles team. The role entails developing testing infrastructure, evaluating Silvus MANET radios, and validating new wireless products under development.

The position is fully onsite at Silvus HQ in West Los Angeles, with responsibilities spanning lab and field testing, collaboration across R&D and engineering, and occasional travel to support demonstrations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years electronics experience, or an Associate degree with 1 year, or a Bachelor or higher.
• Familiarity with testing embedded systems.
• Exposure to RF instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and channel emulators.

Responsibilities

• Wireless test operation, implementation, and maintenance.
• Design and implement testing software for automated testing and logging.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to validate performance and troubleshoot designs.
• Lab testing using wireless channel emulators and other instruments.
• Field testing to qualify system performance in practical environments.
• Occasional domestic travel to support experiments and demonstrations.
