Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer for its Electronic Warfare team in Irvine, CA. You will develop high-performance RF test software, validate RF subsystems, and collaborate with DSP/ RF engineers to enable rapid deployment of capabilities across the Lattice platform.

You will own RF test strategy, improve test architectures, document procedures, and support manufacturing and field integration. A U.S. security clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, RF validation, or hardware/system integration.
• Experience with RF circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
• Familiarity with Python, and/or MATLAB for test scripting, data parsing, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.

Responsibilities

• Own RF test strategy and coverage for EW systems across development and manufacturing.
• Drive improvements in RF test architecture, with a focus on tactically-relevant mission-focused testing.
• Create, maintain electrical test systems through the full lifecycle of development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
• Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and coverage.
• Document test plans, user instructions and manuals.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Work with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis.
• Validate through regression testing when issues and corrective actions are resolved.
• Train technicians on equipment use as required.
