Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the EW Manufacturing team. You will ensure stringent testing standards, meet throughput requirements, and push automation, interfaces, and data analytics.

You’ll own production test flow and resolve complex electrical issues while collaborating with design and quality teams. Responsibilities include developing test instructions, improving test systems, and analyzing data to identify defects and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non-conforming hardware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, MES, and Test Execution Systems (TES).
• Experience integrating electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to component level.
• Improve and sustain test systems to improve automation, consistency, and test coverage.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians in MES and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs.
• Analyze test data and document results to identify defects and improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment for precision.
• Support continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Execute testing as required.
