Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for its EW platform. You will own RF test strategy, drive improvements in test architecture, and create full lifecycle test systems to ensure high-performance interfaces between RF hardware and software.

You will work with DSP and RFML engineers to rapidly deploy capabilities and collaborate with the wider software org to deliver mission-critical code. A Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, RF validation, or hardware/system integration.
• Experience with RF circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
• Familiarity with Python, and/or MATLAB for test scripting, data parsing, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Own RF test strategy and coverage for EW systems across development and manufacturing.
• Drive improvements in RF test architecture, with a focus on tactically-relevant mission-focused testing.
• Create, maintain electrical test systems through the full lifecycle of development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
• Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and coverage.
• Document test plans, user instructions and manuals.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Work with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis.
• Validate through regression testing when issues and corrective actions are resolved.
• Train technicians on equipment use as required.
