Job summary

HRL Laboratories, an IBM company, is seeking a candidate to design, fabricate and test RF/millimeter wave subsystems in a fast-paced environment in California. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to deliver state-of-the-art RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications.

The role requires a Master's or Bachelor’s with 2+ years of experience, strong modeling skills, and familiarity with Python, C and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with modeling and simulating electronic components and RF circuits is desired.
• Familiarity with RF components for communication and radar systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, C and MATLAB; Simulink is a plus.
• Ability to interact professionally with managers, colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team to design, fabricate, integrate and test RF/millimeter wave subsystems.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications.
• Support in solving customer problems, writing disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers and assisting in proposals/marketing HRL expertise.
