Job summary

HRL Laboratories in California seeks an RF Subsystems Engineer to join a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests RF and millimeter-wave subsystems for defense and aerospace applications. You will work with scientists and engineers to develop state-of-the-art RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing, model and simulate components, and contribute to proposal activities.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience is required, with proficiency in

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits is desired.
• Familiarity with RF/test equipment and digital signal processing concepts is useful.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests RF and millimeter wave subsystems.
• Work closely with scientists and engineers to develop RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications.
• Assist in writing invention disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers and supporting proposal activities.
