Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking an RF Subcontracts Engineer in San Jose, CA to support RF subsystem projects for satellite development. You will act as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems, interface with systems and payload engineers, and drive design through build and test activities.

The role requires US citizenship or permanent residency, a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or related field), and about 8 years of related experience; a Master’s may substitute for two years of

Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident required.
• B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 8 years related working experience required.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Preferred: experience in on-orbit failure investigations and technical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems (e.g., TWTAs) and other hardware.
• Performs advanced system design and development engineering tasks.
• Determines applicable specifications for design, development, test, and production activities.
• Provides technical consultation to management and other engineering personnel.
• Prepares and delivers briefings and reports on activities, analyses, and experiments.
