Job summary

Intuitive Machines - West in San Jose, CA seeks an RF Subcontracts Engineer to support RF subsystems for satellite projects. You will specify and document subsystems, interface with systems and payload engineers, and guide hardware through development, build, delivery and test activities.

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
A master's degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
4 years related working experience required.
Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.

Responsibilities

Acts as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems (e.g., TWTAs).
Performs advanced system design and development engineering tasks.
Determines applicable specifications for design, development, test, and production activities.
Provides technical consultation to management and to other engineering personnel.
Reviews designs and reports and provides technical analysis and recommendations.
Prepares and delivers briefings and reports on activities, analyses, experiments, and work performed.
Introduces innovative techniques in RF area.
