Job summary

Intuitive Machines, LLC in San Jose, CA seeks an RF Subcontracts Engineer to support RF subsystem design for satellite projects. You will interface with advanced systems and payload engineers, guiding subsystem development from design through integration and test.

Minimum qualifications include US citizenship or permanent residency, a B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field, and 8 years of experience.

Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident required.
• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field; master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• 8 years related experience required; four years may be substituted for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems such as TWTAs or other hardware.
• Performs advanced system design and development engineering tasks on assigned projects.
• Determines applicable specifications for design, development, test, and production activities.
• Provides technical consultation to management and to other engineering and scientific personnel.
• Reviews designs and reports of engineering personnel and provides analysis and recommendations.
• Prepares and delivers briefings and reports on activities, analyses, experiments, and work performed.
• Introduces innovative techniques in area of specialty.
