Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• B.S. in Electrical/Aerospace/Physics or equivalent; 4 extra years may substitute for a degree.
• Eight years RF-related work experience; six years with MS; three years with PhD.
• Willingness to travel up to ~10% and support off-shift work as needed.
• Strong math and physics background related to RF systems and components.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the responsible engineer for a subsystem or major RF payload portion—integration, test, verification.
• Develop system-level requirements and specifications guiding payload design and performance.
• Participate in system architecture development, including requirements analysis and trade studies.
• Lead RF payload testing and troubleshooting during spacecraft integration and verification.
• Analyze operational issues and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Introduce innovative techniques, tools, or methodologies in RF engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to teams on design issues and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to deliver satellite products.
• Maintain accountability with visibility to management and stakeholders.
