Job summary

Intuitive Machines, LLC seeks an RF Subcontracts Engineer in San Jose, CA to support RF subsystems development for new satellites. You will specify and document RF subsystems, interface with systems and payload engineers, and guide hardware from development through test and spacecraft integration.

The role requires 4 years of related experience, a relevant BS degree, and US citizenship or permanent residency. On-site in California with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field; master's may substitute for two years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years related working experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems such as TWTAs or other hardware.
• Performs advanced system design and development engineering tasks on assigned projects.
• Determines specifications for design, development, test, and production activities.
• Provides technical consultation to management and engineering staff.
• Prepares briefings and reports on activities, analyses, experiments, and work performed.
• Represents the company to customers/vendors and contributes to technical problem solving.
