Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach is seeking an RF Phased Array Engineer I/II to develop new RF products and assess COTS components. You will model array performance and work with an interdisciplinary team to advance designs from prototyping through production.

Ideal candidates have a BS in EE or RF, knowledge of link budgets and antenna modeling, and eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. The role is based at our Long Beach HQ with strong growth in a dynamic space environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF communications (or an equivalent qualification).
• RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Basic knowledge of antenna and array modeling.
• Ability to obtain TS / SCI.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate RF array performance for current programs.
• Architectural design, prototyping, integration, testing and flight development alignment.
• Collaborate with RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineers.
• Support transition from product development to production.
• Interface with vendors and customers.
• Develop test plans and procedures for active antennas – including EIRP & G/T.
