Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Space Systems team in Long Beach, CA seeks an RF Phased Array Engineer I/II to develop RF products, assess components, and model antenna performance with RF, digital, power, mechanical, and thermal engineers.

You’ll support end-to-end development, testing, and production transition, interface with vendors and customers, and help build docs. A BSEE or equivalent and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Fundamental RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Solid theoretical and practical understanding of RF communications and navigation systems and components.
• Basic knowledge of antenna and array modeling.
• Ability to obtain TS / SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end development including architecture design, prototyping, integration, test, and flight development.
• Model and simulate array performance.
• Collaborate with RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineers.
• Support transition developments from new product introduction to production.
• Interface with vendors and customers.
• Develop test plans and procedures for testing active antennas.
