Job summary
RTX is seeking an RF/microwave engineer in McKinney, TX to design, simulate, test and support radar and sensing hardware across the full development lifecycle. You will work with MMICs, CCAs, antennas, and phased array modules, using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and tools like MATLAB, HFSS and Keysight ADS.
Collaboration across engineering teams is essential. You will contribute to design reviews, perform measurements, write scripts in Python, and help move hardware from concept to production while
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related STEM field.
- Coursework in RF/Circuit Design, Microwave Circuits, Electromagnetics, Antenna Engineering, Microwave Measurements or Radar Design.
- Experience in RF/microwave design, antennas, or radar processing.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and analyze RF/microwave components and modules (CCAs, MMICs, phased arrays).
- Perform assembly, testing and characterization of RF hardware using VNAs and spectrum analyzers.
- Execute system- and component-level integration and testing; collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW to control measurement systems and analyze data.
