Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to bridge CRFS engineering and customers in the US. You will provide expert-level support, on-site training, and troubleshooting for complex RF systems and networked solutions.

Responsibilities include remote and on-site customer support, comprehensive training, diagnostics, field deployments, and generating technical reports. Travel up to 50% domestically and some international, with a strong voice for customer feedback to drive

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications; military school ok.
• RF concepts and test equipment familiarity.
• ESD-controlled environment experience.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-tier technical assistance remotely and on-site to CRFS customers.
• Deliver comprehensive technical training to end users, from basic to advanced system use.
• Perform diagnostics and high-level repairs on CRFS equipment in office and field.
• Deploy to customer sites to support, configure, and assist with installation of CRFS equipment.
• Develop test plans and project reports to support field activities.
• Assist Sales teams with system demonstrations and technical guidance.
