Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale is seeking a strong mechanical engineer to drive RF and RCS hardware design from concept through fabrication and testing. You will collaborate with RF designers and other disciplines to create novel solutions for flight and non-flight hardware.

The role emphasizes design-to-fab execution, clear communication, and solid project management under tight schedules in a primarily R&D setting with some production work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DExperience, or similar CAD experience.
• Experience with detail part / assembly design.
• Strong communication skills and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabrication, and testing of LO apertures and RCS test fixtures.
• Work design and fab of hardware in mostly a research and development environment with some production efforts.
