Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States is seeking an RF Architect to design and verify RF systems and circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications. You will work on antennas, transmitters, receivers, LNAs, HPAs, and related hardware while developing architectures and test methods.

The role involves performing link analyses, TPMs, and CAIV studies, as well as supporting manufacturing during assembly and test.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Development work in RF/microwave circuit design.
• Experience testing RF hardware with signal generators, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to obtain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design RF systems and circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications.
• Develop RF system/subsystem architectures including antennas, transmitters, receivers, LNAs, HPAs, RF conversion elements and transmission lines.
• Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
• Provide inputs to Product Development and support manufacturing during assembly and test.
• Perform link analysis and optimization; evaluate TPMs and CAIV analyses.
• Support Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses.
