Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an RF Systems Architect to design and develop RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications. You will lead hardware layouts, prototype testing, and optimization, while interfacing with product development and manufacturing for successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering or related field, hardware/supplier management experience, and a US citizenship with ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related technical degree.
• Experienced in hardware and supplier management.
• Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review Events.
• Experienced with requirements and specifications for the development of avionic hardware.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

• Architects and designs RF systems and circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications.
• Designs and develops RF circuitry, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
• Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.
• Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during deliverable assembly and test phase.
• Develops RF system architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment.
• Performs link analysis and optimization including propagation medium and interference sources.
• Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem requirements.
• Identifies and tracks RF TPMs.
• Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
• Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
